Does smoking heroin give cause for developing a split personality?
Addicts typically lose much of their sense of decency and in my experience Heroin addicts can be very labile. For example, my brother at one point accused me of stealing his rent money and stole money from my grandmother. It sounds to me like the person in question may be using you as a way to justify his addiction. By blaming you for his slip-ups, he can avoid taking responsibility for himself and cleaning up his act. But also keep in mind that he’s fighting a desperate struggle and may be lashing out as a consequence, and that while it’s not the norm some people routinely become angry and even violent when they withdraw from Heroin.
