Does Smileycons work with Outlook 2007?
Currently, Outlook 2007 has eliminated the option for users to select anything but MS Word as editor for Outlook 2007 HTML email. Since animations don’t work in MS Word, you can use the Smileycons’ images in Outlook 2007 but until Microsoft gives users back the option to de-select using MS Word as editor, animations will not work and Smileycons will be restricted to being static images. This not only applies to Smileycons but to all animated gifs as well. We hope that Microsoft will listen to users this time and actually give them what they want instead of what MS wants them to have. Smileycons continues to work well in all previous versions of MS Outlook, when users de-select the option to use MS Word as editor for Outlook.
