Does Smart Toolz™ support my ID/Badging Application?
The Application Tools that are unique to our kit are a perfect compliment to a ID/Badging System of photo acquisition and printing. For a complete badging application see our information on CardFive Professional. The tools allow you as a developer to specify what is stored where on your network and cards. CardLogix employs a cold lamination process with a specific type of plastic, versus injection molding or the hot melt process, for chip module implantation. This means that the cards work well with many dye sublimation printers such as DataCard, Eltron and Fargo in ID/Badging applications. CardLogix cards have several advantages, such as higher scratch resistance, better dye absorption and a smoother card surface for longer print head life. Our card plastic is specifically designed for efficient punching of holes, leaving no marks or irregularities. The back of the card is not disturbed with module implantation, leaving more usable printing space.
