yes, here is how we configured it and got it to work. Here are the detail steps to make Skpe (OSS) work on our DesktopServer 4 1. Download skype-1.2.0.18-fc3.i586.rpm from Skype web site, and install it ( rpm -Uvh *.rpm ); 2. Login to stations as different users; Normally if you have a connected USB headset in your keyboard and you have esound daemon started, you should hear a short period of sound during session startup 3. In each station, right click the speaker icon on the panel, which is located on the top right of the screen; Select “Open Volume Control”; In the volume control window, from main menu, select File -> Change Device -> Logitech USB Headset; If there are many device here make sure you select right one; In “Playback” tab, make sure the Speaker is not muted and the volume is up; In “Capture” tab, make sure speaker and microphone icon are not muted, and increase the volume; 4.
