Does silver nitrate hurt?

No! Well, we have used silver nitrate in my science class and it was very common for people to accidentally get some on their hands. If they were quick enough to wash it off, it wouldn’t stain but if they didn’t catch it, the silver nitrate would appear to look like water, but after a few minutes it turned blacky brown and smelled like pennies. I got it on my thumb and I smelled like pennies and my cuticle was brown for a week! However, I have never had a wart or had anything removed with silver nitrate, so I can’t imagine it will hurt. Try researching up on the subject more? You might find something interesting about it!
