Does signing a 1:24 die cast car increase or decrease the value? And where should the signature be placed on the car, box or where?

There are some die-cast purists that contend that an autograph actually detracts from the value because the piece is no long mint as it was produced. Others are of the opinion that autographs add to the value. If that is indeed the case, the valueworth would never exceed the combined value of the die-cast and autograph.
