Does SHS help us file insurance claims? What about other billing issues?
Payment of charges is expected at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, Carolina Card, Visa, Discovery and MasterCard. We also participate in the USC sponsored student health insurance. We do not file on insurance outside the school-sponsored plan. We will provide your student with copies of all relevant paperwork you will need to file for payment and/or reimbursement with your insurance carrier. If the charges are unpaid at the time of the visit, we will transfer the balance to the Bursars office for billing on the students account. Please note: If a students account become past due, USC may withhold transcripts, grades, registration or other University services until all past due amounts are paid.
