Does Shiver Shield have any scent prevention or elimination properties?
We have decided to not incorporate any type of antimicrobial into the fabrics used in Shiver Shield. We are still investigating to find an antimicrobial fabric that meets our high standards. However, we are nearing completion of a line of heat and moisture activated odor control products named TKO. These were specifically designed to be used with Shiver Shield. With the extreme warmth of Shiver Shield, it is important to have an odor protection that works extremely well while the body is generating heat and possible sweat. TKO is designed to be used on the inner layer of your hunting clothing and as you heat up, TKo activates to control odors from building up. TKO can also be used on all your clothing and equipment to help prevent being detected by prey. TKO in combination with good personal hygiene is best method for scent control and elimination.
