The link with previous and on-going research efforts is made through the inventory of existing concepts of operations and technologies which is planned In the SESAR Definition Phase Study during the 3 first Milestones. Regarding Episode III, in the Consortiums opinion, it will have to be aligned with the SESAR work though, pending availability of the Master Plan, timescales may however allow for Episode III to take the performance requirements of D2 and the concept elaborated in D3 as the basis of the validation that it will conduct, therefore ensuring full alignment with and support to SESAR.
