Does semi-permanent makeup look very obvious or unreal?
My work and my training challenged the theory that permanent cosmetics had to look “permanent”. I introduced a natural style now known as my FAME technique and encouraged other make-up artists to experiment with subtle technique and colour. When I first explained that I used taupe to naturally define the eyes, other practitioners just laughed. Dramatic was the bench mark and it took years of education and training before the rest of the industry realised I was on to something!
