Does Saturn’s Moon Enceladus Harbor Life?
Scientists are growing white, wondering whether or not there is an underground ocean on Saturn’s moon, Enceladus. Two studies on the subject have yielded two different kinds of result and it is this contrast in the revelation of the studies that is leaving the scientists confused and bewildered. The result of one of the studies seems to throw light on the fact that there is the presence of a underground oceanic water-body on Saturn’s moon. The other study however goes on to state that the presence has not been detected; even if present, the water body must be so deeply buried, that it is hard to verify its existence. In the recent years, mankind’s pursuit of discovering life on another planetary body has added Enceladus in the list of probabilities. Ever since it was discovered that the vapor of some kind of gas or liquid was shot like geyser from the surface of the Saturn’s moon, scientists have pondered over the presence of water below its surface.
