Does SaskPower get money from the provincial government to offset outstanding accounts?
No. As a Crown corporation owned by the people of Saskatchewan, SaskPower operates on accepted business principles. This includes the understanding that all customers will meet their commitment to pay for the service provided to them. Negligent accounts place an unfair burden on the customers who do pay their bills.
