• SAP does not plan to stop or discontinue any products or functionality with the availabilty of the Business Objects premium packages. • The only exception to this is the BEx Report Designer, which will be replaced by a Crystal Reports Light offering as part of the NW licence. • BI will continue to be an integral part of the NW platform and NW licence offering. • SAP and Business Objects strategic focus regarding BI tools will clearly be on the premium packages. • There will only be very limited enhancements in the current BEx Suite or a future NW based frontend offering.
