Does San Diego really have a mayor?

0

It is time to get on with the running of our city and end the election fiasco. Dick Murphy is our mayor for the next four years. Donna Frye needs to understand California election laws. Frye did not participate in the primary election. She tried to bluff her way into the Mayor’s Office with a write-in candidacy, and unfortunately one-third of the voters bought into her rhetoric. Frye cannot understand that she did not earn the right for her name to be on the ballot. Therefore her name had to be written in. That is not a vote. Once her name is written onto the ballot, then the bubble signifying which candidate the voter is choosing is filled in. It takes a third-grade education to understand it. But after the recent appeals court ruling, Frye is making noise that she may still seek legal relief to place her in the Mayor’s Office, once again proving that she is not doing what is good for the city of San Diego; she is only interested in what is good for Donna Frye.
