Yes, the Heather Dog Run is an open, scenic, off-leash dog exercise area located at Heather Park off Melendy Drive. The access is through the Heather School Parking lot. This is the only park in San Carlos that allows dogs off leash. You and your dog may use any San Carlos park as long as your dog is leashed, under control, licensed, and fecal matter is picked up. “Pooper scooper dispensers are available at all park sites.
