Does Samtec validate their connector models?
Samtec’s connector model’s are classified as one of the following: – Validated: Model created using Samtec’s defined modeling techniques. Simulation data from the model correlates with test data from the connector. – Developmental: Model created using Samtec’s defined modeling techniques, but has not yet been correlated against test data. These models may be “soft validated”, where simulation data from the model is correlated with data obtained from a full wave 3D simulation.
