Does Saint Matthews Churches believe God still heals today?
In an attempt to answer that question. let us first say that it is important to understand that yes we believe God still heals today, but it is God who heals, not man. At Saint Matthew’s Churches, we do not claim to be able to heal anyone but we humbly give thanks to God who still heals in answer to the prayers of His people. Having said that, the Bible, the history of the Church and the countless testimonies of believers bear witness to the healing power of God. The Bible teaches us that God is a healer, “…for I am the Lord that healeth thee” (Exodus 15:26). It also teaches us that “Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom and healing every sickness and every disease among the people” (Matthew 9:35).
