Umm well yes and no. They have players to replace those players, but if those players get injured then they have some weak options. For Luke Ball they have Armitage to replace him, Lovett (well I guess Brett Peake) and Hudghton + Maguire were really in and out of the side last year – They have some young guys coming through like Miles, Smith and Guertner but still a bit far from senior level in my opinion. But if Armitage gets injured they really don’t have great depth, where as last year if someone like Ball or Dal Santo got injured, Armitage would be the player to come in – and that was great depth, but now we really don’t have that much to offer with youngsters. Then again, with the new signings of Jesse Smith and Peake, they can go down back and hopefully this means Goddard and Gram can move further up the ground, providing St Kilda with more options.
