Yes, Schedule II (CII) drugs can be prepackaged at SAFECOR HEALTH. The hospital must complete DEA Form 222 to transport the drugs to SAFECOR HEALTH, and a second DEA Form 222 to transport the drugs back to the hospital. The CII drugs must be delivered directly from your hospital. Your wholesaler is restricted by Federal Law from shipping CIIs to SAFECOR HEALTH on behalf of a hospital, although your wholesaler CAN ship Schedule III through V items through your Bill To/Ship To account. Note: Some States have further restrictions, therefore, it is important to check with your State Board of Pharmacy to determine if any special State licensure is required for you to ship Schedule II drugs.
