Does RYM have a chatroom?
Yes! Click the “Chat” link which appears at the bottom of each page. Read this post for more info. The RYM chat is part of an IRC network. Visit http://www.irchelp.org/ if you want to learn how IRC works. Please keep in mind this chatroom is set up by RYM users and isn’t “official”, so site rules may or may not apply. Don’t be surprised or offended if no one responds to you, sometimes users who are connected are either sleeping or away from their computers. This is normal. There is also a secondary chat for corrections and moderations, there is usually someone there to help sort out any data-input related queries. The channel is reached the same way as #rym, however this channel is #rym-mods. This channel can be used by anyone, moderator or otherwise, if you see something that needs fixed, this is a fairly reliable alternative to the standard methods for corrections and questions.
