Does Ryan air skimp on maintenance?
my brother works as a luggage handler at a big airport in the UK(sorry can’t say which one,his boss might be reading this).he often watches Ryan air maintenance team fixing the planes before takeoff.what i am about to tell you will no doubt alarm you as it alarmed me when i first heard.Ryan Air use flattened out breakfast cereal boxes to patch up holes in the planes hull.apparently they do it often due to the fact that the planes are falling apart and a limitless supply of empty cereal boxes from the airport catering department.the maintenance team seem happy to carry on doing this shoddy workmanship on these planes as it is cheap and easy to glue the cardboard without needing much training.one once boasted to my brother that they constructed a whole wing out of nothing but Kelloggs Special K and Weetobix boxes and cellotape.i’ve stopped using Ryan Air and any other cheap airlines.which you will do too no doubt after hearing this.
