Does Rusle handle multi-year crop rotations?
A rotation can be lengthened (or made multi-year) in three ways, each of which meets specific needs: • In the profile object, “pad” the rotation length. Do this if you want a period of no operations before the rotation repeats. Currently, this is done by changing “Length” in the “Management” tab. • In the management object, lengthen the rotation by adding a crop or operation. Currently, this is done by adding a new “Date” record in the “Operations” tab. • In one of the vegetation objects, lengthen the lifespan of that vegetation. Currently, this is done by adding a new “Age” record in the “Growth chart” tab.
