Does running make legs bigger?
Running won’t help much, at least not in a reasonable amount of time. You need resistance training to really burn ‘tough’ fat. Lift weights, do yoga or pilates and that should take care of it. Although, if you do a lot of hills or underproanate (land too much on your heels) that could cause the blood to pool in your legs giving the effect of bigger legs (not to mention varicose veins). Otherwise, you really need to work in some light resistance training with your running to maintain a sleeker look, that’s where the yoga and pilates work best.
