Does RUG training take the place of TILE certification?
The RUG training does not replace TILE certification. They are two separate training requirements. The TILE certification will not end when you take the RUG training. You may be both TILE certified and RUG complete for some period of time until you either allow your TILE certification to expire or renew it by taking the training again. Reminder that the TILE certification will only be needed post-9-1-2008 for the electronic submission of the 3652-A Purpose Code E (Recovery of Lost Payment on TILE) for those missed assessments prior to 9-1-2008.
