Terminology You Should Know Before Getting Started In order for Web Services to better serve you, we need to make sure we’re all speaking the same language. The following is a list of terms that are most commonly used by the Web Services Team and those requesting our assistance. The Rowan Web, whose main address is http://www.rowan.edu lives on the Rowan University Network and consists of hundreds of thousands of files (i.e. .html files, image files such as .jpegs and .gifs, flash files, .cfm files, pdf’s and the list goes on).
