No, it is listed under ASTM E 136 as Non-Combustible. There have been numerous documentation that state Rockwool contributed to the containment of a fire and prevented further loss of property and potential loss of life. Fiberglass also listed as Non-Combustible has a melting point of 900° F, where as Rockwool has a melting point of 2100° F.
