Does Ripley Entertainment have plans for expansion?
The company plans to double attendance and revenues within the next 3 to 5 years through internal growth, acquisitions, and new attractions. In June 2007, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium opened on Times Square in New York City, and in early 2008, a Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum, a Louis Tussaud’s Wax Museum and a Mirror Maze opened in Bangalore, India. In May 2008, a brand new Believe It or Not! Museum opened in San Antonio, Texas and in mid-August, the world’s largest Believe It or Not! Museum opened in London. Seven new facilities are planned for 2009, including attractions in Mexico, Korea, and Bahrain.

Museum in San Antonio, Texas; a Believe It or Not! in Veracruz, Mexico; a Louis Tussaud’s Wax Museum in Thailand; and the world’s largest Believe It or Not! Museum in London. A new Believe It or Not! museum opened in Surfers Paradise, Australia in January 2010 and since then, Marvelous Mirror Mazes have opened in El Paso, Texas, Ocean City, Md., and in San Francisco as part of the newly renovated Believe It or Not! Odditorium. A new Ripley’s LaseRace opened in Ocean City, Md and a new Believe It or Not! Odditorium opened in December 2010 on Jeju Island, South Korea.
