A. Ridgeview Valley does not have any lake access and it does not have any boat slips. Ridgeview Valley’s plans, however, include the construction of a temporary parking/storage facility for boats and/or boat trailers on its property. Access to the lake is via various businesses that rent boats, temporary and seasonal slips, and at Deep Creek Lake State Park [operated by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR)]. Boats can be launched at many of these places for day or weekend use. Send us an e-mail if you want more information. Q. How big are the homesites? I really wanted a 1 to 2 acre homesite! A. Homesites vary in size. In the current phase homesites sizes vary from 0.43 to 0.89 acres. Future development phases may have homesites around 1 acre, but we do not plan on having homesites as large as 2 acres. We believe it to be more important to provide a large contiguous space for everyone to enjoy. Over 150 acres are planned as common land!
