Yes. Reuters is committed to using technology to speed up its sourcing and buying processes and to reduce administration costs. The suite of tools we currently employ includes electronic ordering, automated payment and e-auctions. Further developments in the areas of “punch out” links to external catalogues and e-sourcing are also close to deployment.
