Does religion inspire evil acts? If yes, why when it is supposed to inspire love and peace?

A dogma is an unquestioned belief; an opinion about the nature of the universe or how the universe should be that is invincible to argument. A dogma is something about which a person’s mind can never be changed, it is something that is Ultimate Truth. Religion is simply the most common form of dogma in the world. Whatever anyone wants to say about it not representing true Islam or it being a political act or anything of the sort, the 9/11 attacks were performed by men who committed suicide with the belief that they would be rewarded in the afterlife for dying while attacking the enemies of Islam.
