Does religion cause more misery than happiness ?
I know that Christian causes a lot of misery. Most Christians have to cope with the fact that atheists and non-Christians that they love are going to hell in their religion. I was nominally a Christian when I was a child (with universalist and logical ideas to my merit) and I had to grapple with the fact that Christianity is an inhuman death cult and that I was a horrible monster that deserved hell…or so the Bible told me. Luckily I was a universalist who didn’t believe that people would have to suffer hell when they died. I was lucky to have escaped Christianity in my early adulthood. Sadly I had to lose the woman I loved because of Fundamentalist Christianity, to fully detest the vile religion of those born again cultists. With Fundamentalist Christianity, you have to deal with hell, faulty marriages that you cannot end, an irrational mind, a cruel god who you fear and a whole ridiculous lifestyle built around the scriptures.
