Does Redeye AutoRemover negatively influence the photo quality other than removing red eyes?
We are working seriously to improve the quality of your photo by removing red eyes. The caveat is that if your original photo is in JPEG format, AutoRemover has to first decompress the photo into raw image, and does redeye removal over raw image, and then compresses the processed raw image back to JPEG format if the user chooses to save the processed photo in JPEG format. Since JPEG compressing is lossy process (in other words, to compress a raw image into JPEG, one has to lose some information from the data), this decompress-process-recompress pipeline will remove some information for your original photo other than redeye themselves. One solution is to save the process photos as TIFF format to avoid JPEG compression loss. Another is to use the same JPEG compression table used to create the original JPEG photo to minimize the JPEG compression loss.
