Yes. Red Hat Enterprise Linux is an excellent guest operating system to run on top of VMware virtualization. Red Hat and VMware have partnered for the last five years on testing and supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux on VMware’s offerings. In addition, Red Hat and Microsoft recently announced plans to test and support Windows Server guests on Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux guests on Microsoft Hyper-V Server virtualization.
