Does Radar Systems Monitor consume a large amount of resources like some other monitoring tools?

The agent and server were designed to minimally impact any machine and require minimum resources from the machine. Having seen other products take up several percent of the CPU, the Agent and Server were designed to be very efficient. It does this by collecting as much information in one go. Some monitoring tools fire an executable for each filesystem being monitored and for each parameter (inodes used, percent space used etc). For a system with many filesystems this can consume a reasonable amount of CPU, the solution then is to monitor only a few filesystems every 15 minutes. Radar Systems Monitor can monitor any amount of filesystems every minute if desired, with a nearly non detectable CPU consumption.
