Does racing fuel and racing oil increase the performance of a series production engine?
The use of racing fuel generally does, and optimisation of the engine tuning can achieve further improvements in performance. The use of racing oil usually improves the performance of four-stroke engines, but not of two-stroke engines, as the absolute lubrication capabilities of the oil are more likely to be endangered.
