Does RaceDeck flooring attach to my garage floor?
No. RaceDeck flooring is a “floating” system, which means that it is designed to be installed on level, hard surfaces. Specifically designed to be installed over concrete, however it can be used over carpet, wood and other level, hard load bearing surfaces. RaceDeck flooring does not require any surface preparation before installing and no glue, tape or adhesives are needed. An average two-car garage takes approximately an hour to install. 2. Can I cut and trim the RaceDeck flooring? Yes. All RaceDeck polypropylene (PPV) flooring (Diamond, CircleTrac, FastDeck and FreeFlow) can easily be cut to fit. We recommend several ways to cut the flooring, one is if you are only cutting a few tiles in a straight line, get a commercial grade utility knife and a straight edge, then “score” the tile a few times, bend it, and then make one more clean cut.
