Does Quest Diagnostics have a program for patients experiencing financial hardship and/or patients who do not have insurance?
Yes, Quest Diagnostics recognizes that patients sometimes experience financial hardship or may not have insurance coverage for laboratory services. We offer several programs to assist patients facing these challenges, including our Financial Assistance program, our Uninsured Patient Program (available at participating Patient Service Centers in select geographic areas. Call 800-520-7010 for availability), free or reduced fee laboratory services, and our participation in the Take Care Recovery plan. A payment plan is available to allow patients to pay their balance in monthly installments and a financial assistance program is available for patients without sufficient resources to pay their invoice. Eligibility for the financial assistance program is determined based on guidelines provided by US Department of Health and Human Services.
