Does Queensland Theatre Company consider unsolicited scripts?
Queensland Theatre Company does not accept unsolicited manuscripts, unless they have been submitted through an agent, or unless you are a writer with a professional production history. Playwrights must satisfy one of the following criteria: • The professional production of at least one script • A professional workshop or reading of the submitted script • The submitted script has been forwarded by a theatrical agent • The submitted script has been recommended to the Company by a theatre professional known to the Company. The submitted script has been recommended to the Company by a professional theatre company or script development agency known to the Company and with the most recent complete reviews/reports attached.
