Queen’s Commerce does recognize the International Baccalaureate. There is more information regarding the admission from IB programs at http://www.queensu.ca/admission/. However, the requirements can be summarized as follows: Full diploma candidates who achieve passes in six subjects with at least three at the Higher Level and who accumulate a grade total of 35 (exclusive of bonus points) are eligible for admission consideration to first year. Bonus points on TOK and EE will be considered when making the admission decision. Students admitted to the School of Business may be granted credits for Higher Level subjects completed with a grade of 5 or better. Specific prerequisites required for commerce are HL or SL Mathematics and English with minimum predicted/final scores of 5. Note that Further Mathematics, Math Methods and Mathematical Studies are not acceptable prerequisites for this program.
