Does PVBIA do background checks on the therapist?
PVBIA does not require background checks but background checks are recommended. • What materials do I need to provide for my therapist? You must provide your therapists with your child’s reinforcers, all teaching materials and updated goals. A failure to provide the necessary materials could be cause for your therapist to be reassigned. • Will the goals I provide in the beginning of the program be acceptable for the duration of the program? We hope and expect to see progress so there is the potential for your child to master all their current goals. If that is the case, make sure you are prepared to provide updated goals for the therapists to work on with your child.
