It might allow you to overcome friction and speed you up at the start but I don’t think it’ll make you go faster after you’re at speed. When you’re at speed, in order to use the mass of your upper body to accelerate you downward you would have to generate acceleration downward at a velocity faster, (reletive to your direction of travel) than you are going. Newton says you would probably just lift your lower legs and board up and then cause more friction when it came down.
