Probation and Corrections work when family involvement, or some other type of people support, is caring and willing to follow through on commitments and responsibilities. With this cooperation, court ordered probation and corrections is most effective. When the court makes people accountable for their actions with restorative measures to the community and to the victim, it is easy to see the positive effects. When agents are able to facilitate counseling and treatment with willing participants, positive outcomes are common.
