Does pretending to be in the Coast Guard make me a patriot?
First, in my opinion, you need to keep religion in the religion area. Second, in my opinion, NO, it absolutely does NOT make you a “patriot.” It makes you a fraud. And it’s kind of disrespectful of those who’ve served. And it also makes you a hypocrite because those who refuse to serve rant and rave, at least they’re honest about their convictions. You want to be a patriot, join… for real. Or just state your opinion. That’s honest. Third, what does the Bible say about frauds and lairs? Sorry, no support from this one. You see, I am a Veteran, and I’d be more inclined to respect the opinion of one who was at least about honest about their convictions, even though I may disagree with those opinions, than I would the mere prattling of a liar and a fraud.
