Well my nephew was treated at Walter Reed hospital a few years ago for a injury he sustained at Ft. Campbell doing maintenance on a helicopter. The base hospital was unable to get his wound to heel, and he was sent to DC because of a staph infection. The fact that the hospital is in the seat of our government, but doesn’t provide the best health care possible to our service men might support that. It may be considered as abuse and mistreatment by some. But my nephew never complained, even though he lost 65 % of the use of his arm. Because the only way to control the staph was to remove it. This was back in 2003.
