Does PowerDVD work with USB Graphics Adapters?
Yes, PowerDVD works on DisplayLink Graphics Adapters when part of the extended desktop. PowerDVD does not respond well in all situations, however. In particular: • Video hardware acceleration must be turned off in the PowerDVD options (configuration options, video tab). • With PowerDVD 7.0, dragging a paused movie from either the Nivo to the Laptop or from the Laptop to the Nivo results in a blank player screen on the destination device. Also, dragging a paused movie from an extended Nivo to the main screen, playing it, pausing it, dragging it back to the Nivo screen and then playing it again results in the player display only appearing in the space occupied by the player’s overlay control. • When the mouse is moved over the playing movie, a black shadow appears behind it. • Uncovering the PowerDVD window (by moving another window off it) may cause other screens to flicker and redraw. • Playing Bluray on NVidia 7950 GFX or 7600GS GFX may cause the USB displays flicker on and off intens
