Does poverty around the world, pose a security risk for the U.S.?

Poverty only hides it better. For example: Malaysia is a Muslim nation no one talks about – and it’s even touted as very peaceful, meanwhile Bin Laden was suspected to have hidden in the countryside there after 9/11, and extremist Muslims from Kelantan carry out terror attacks in Bali & Jakarta, targeting western tourists & embassies. But if you look at the powers that be, behind some of this, there is too much money, and too much GOVERNMENT money from Muslim nations to think that poor, rural areas are the catalyst. Also, look at the underwear bomber – not exactly a poor, rural kid.
