Does POST still want the Affidavit of Attendance sheets mailed in?
The most significant procedural change is that a copy of the attendance rosters will no longer be sent to the POST Board. Officers are expected to keep a record of the continuing education courses they have attended and be able to verify their attendance. Training vendors are encouraged to give officers a certificate of completion or other proof of completion for the officers’ records. The proof of completion must contain the name of the training provider, course title, instructor name, date and hours attended.
