Despite newspaper articles, radio reports and advertisements highlighting the events, a surprisingly low number of Arun residents have so far taken their opportunity to attend the current series of public exhibitions on future development in the Arun District. Arun District Council’s ‘Core Strategy’ and ‘Issues and Options’ planning papers have been available for scrutiny and comment at Arundel Town Hall and are currently on show at the Laburnum Centre, Bognor Regis. Starting on Monday 24 October, the exhibition will be moving to Littlehampton Library. “It is a great pity that more residents have not availed themselves of this chance to be involved with local planning,” comments Howard Cheadle, Head of Housing and Planning Strategy at Arun District Council. “However there is still time, and I would urge residents to get involved. “The ‘Core Strategy’ and ‘Issues and Options’ documents are of vital importance to the whole planning process. “If residents do not comment on them at this st
