Does Pooch Pad administer shots and medicine? Is there a charge?
A. Yes. We will administer any medication necessary for your pet, not including required vaccinations. Just be sure everything is labeled correctly and you fill out a pet information card to specify times and amounts of meds. Also be sure to let us know at check in if the medication needs to be refrigerated. If the medication can be administered by just placing on top of pets’ food we do usually not charge unless it is on a holiday. Most medications are $0.50 per medication per time administered. If we have to use treats, cheese or weenies, or actually put it down your pets throat we will charge. Most pets will do anything for a Vienna sausage.
