Does Points of Interest contain the complete list of any type of activity or service?
Completeness is not something that can be determined to a definitive level.Within the data there is a value for the estimated range of completeness of a particular activity or service. The completeness range assigned to a class is an estimate based on PointX’s experience of compiling the data and knowledge of what information is available, or not available, within the marketplace. It is therefore advised that customers use the value as an indicative measure, rather than an absolute measure, of completeness. The ‘completeness’ of a category also varies across the country; in some areas there may be very comprehensive data on a specific activity and in others there may be very little data available on that same activity. It is imperative that customers look at the completeness value for the category and assess for themselves whether that category is complete enough for the intended applications.
